Interesting shots from the 'Streets of San Francisco'.........

 

This photograph of the Bayshore Freeway in San Francisco, CA, is dated June 17, 1959, by the source and described as a view north towards “Hospital Curve.” Note the pedestrian bridge across the highway at the top of the image. San Francisco General Hospital is located on the left-hand side of the roadway behind the trees.

The Webster Garage, photographed in March of 1961, was located in Atlanta, Georgia; the image source identified the location as 140 Butler Street NW. It looks like many of the older gritty automotive repair and body and paint shops located in grimy old industrial areas that used to dot the land across America.
