Wagons in vintage Street scenes

That 4-door Comet owner looks like he should have bought the wagon version

 

Nope didn't work.

 

Man, Chevys were so popular back then; too bad they just rotted away (the one we had in the late '60s definitely was rotting away). Five '59s, and at least four '60s in the right three lanes that I can see. One more '59 was in the left three lanes.

 

OK, let's try this again, shall we?

So, I'm looking at the pic, and it's awfully familiar.... Hmmm

This is my local Springfield Motors Buick dealer, still in business since the 40's, and the same building since at least 1959 - probably many years before that. I visited the dealership once to drive a used car on their lot. Very friendly folks.
