I figured as much.

 

Yes, the kid in that photo being held by the lady (my wife) waving her hand is now 31, is married, and has one child, so, yes, I am a grandfather.

 

Holiday Inn East (postcard), Albuquerque, New Mexico, on Route 66. The postmark on the back is August 1973. That's a mid-'60s Vista Cruiser facing away from the camera in the top photo.

TraveLodge, Williams, Arizona postcard. Another white Vista Cruiser (or Buick Sport Wagon). That's about a '64 Impala to its left, so mid-'60s.

 

Wouldn't it be something, if Holiday Inn still had those yellow Vee Dubb longroofs in service
