It seems, Australians didn't like Slant Sixes

There's nothing special about this engine, except for the hemispherical combustion chambers. The head isn't even a cross-flow and the valves not even canted. What's unusual, however, is that intake and exhaust ports are evenly divided from one another, in an alternating pattern, pretty much like Ford V-8s were. If hemi heads were to be cast for Slant Sixes, they should be just as good or maybe even better than the versions assigned to the Australian market
How about a Pontiac half-389 with a Mickey Thompson head?
