Judging by the damage, and the fact that the Fairlane is sitting on TOP of some snow, I think it was punted there by something else........
Man, been a while since this thread has seen activity. Here's something that I thought you would all enjoy: Hulett C Merritt founded the Tagus Ranch and fruit stand in 1912 four miles north of Tulare, CA, which would later grow to encompass 7000-acres. After it was fully developed, it was the largest fruit farm in the world. These images were taken in the early 1930s to mid-’30s. At this location on the Ranch near the fruit stand was a Mobile Oil Service Station, the “Tagus Cafe and Soda Fountain,” and behind it was a store handling “General Merchandise.” At one point, employees and farm workers were paid in “Tagus Ranch Cash” that was redeemable at this facility.
