If you want sign-toppling, vandalism and Charlottesville-styled violence, try copying this filling station today

"Rebel Gas" just comes from all the boiled goober peas the Confederate soldiers ate.

Yeah, Goobers tend to get quite gassy

Those Gas Wars were great for us cruisers. I remember getting Texaco for 28 Regular and 32 Hi-Test once back around 1970. At my station we were selling it for 35 and 39 (my station had no competition, lol). Instead of $1 worth, I probably splurge $2 or $3 that day, lol.

Whoever designed that convertible was talented to the point where I would have voted he or she the best American car designer of that era. I've never been to art school. But, they say that they teach you about placing circles and curves into where the design gets harmonized. Those headlight bezels are of a timeless design and where could the appropriately round turn signals have been better placed?

Looks like a war time Rations Line. Great prices though, although they probably thought they were high back then.

Nope. The Government held prices during rationing, and had hefty punishments for anyone profiteering.

Locomotive? I don't see any locomotive. I do see a 30,000 gallon tank car, though.

I love this. The old timer on the Farmall could be my Grandfather.
