I have been to Grand Coulee Dam, and I'll have to drag my pics out to see if the Texaco, or any station, is still there. For Most of my life, I see pics of Grand Coulee and the water reclamation project, and think it's as big as can be. I get there, and not only are you barred from walking or driving across it (citing security), but when I got to the bottom and looked at it, it looked like a skyscraper laid on its side! I expected it to be two, maybe three times the size it actually is!
