Im home, alive and kicking. They lost one of my bags in China between my first flight and my 2nd, was the one with my RC and all my RC stuff, so I was stressing. It finally was delivered to my parents yesterday. Everything in it and all that junk. I bought me a 86 Camaro with a 2.8V6 auto tranny. She wanted $800 and it was out of time, her son put in a different distributer and it would start hard and only run if you 2 footed it. Well I made the offer for $400 and she took it and 5 minutes later, I had it timed and running like a champ, she was kicking herself when she heard it idle. I went to the notary, got a transit tag and drove it 2 hours home from Pittsburgh and she got 25.76mpg HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Its in OK shape, the only real rust is in the passenger floorboard and I already patched that up. New tires all around, new brakes, rotors, shocks and struts, new drums, brake lines, all that stuff already done within last 6 months. I put a new exhaust on it, had a new muffler already, so just a $36 pipe from the cat to the muffler. She runs like a dream and drives real good. Feels great to finally have 4 honest wheels under my arse, not 2 little scooter tires and some freedom.
Scott, glad to hear you are back and got such a great deal on a car. It's all uphill from now on. Or is that downhill on the way up? That Camaro would probably scrap for what you paid for it. It's Spring and the weather is warmin up everywhere. Put a smile on your face and be happy.
