That's what made child labor so popular

^^^im all about some child labor. I can’t trust them with any of the cars so I got em on the old push mower. Little do they know if they ever do get it back together and running there’s gonna be more child labor!!

Yep. He's very interested in the mechanics of how things work so he loves to help me whenever I am working on something.

The dealer building where Grandpa bought the car?
No, sadly it is long gone. It's a car wash now.

Ha! Little do you know that the reason they're dragging their feet on repairing that dear mower you put under the Christmas Tree is because once it's fixed, they'll end up mowing the lawn and will end up looking like body builders in miniature. I'd see what happens, once you start paying them. Or maybe build them one of these and then refuse paying them

Well, we took the Fury out for it's first run of 2019. First stop the library and then off to get icecream. Fitting first day of spring.

Jeremiah, every time I see a pic of your wagon, my mind goes back to 1962 and '63, when a buddy of mine's family had a '62 Fury or Belvedere wagon..... I was sort of 'indoctrinated' into Chrysler Corp. vehicles back then, with that wagon, and also my best friend's mom's 2 consecutive Valiants that she had....... The only previous experience our family had with them was my dad's '48 Dodge back in the early 50's - first car of my dad's that I remember. I liked the interior engineering of the Chrysler Corp. vehicles - the push-button auto trans, the little 'flip' levers for the door locks, the unique instrument panels. They were pretty space-agey for the time.

That's pretty neat Marshall. I'm glad my car helps trigger those fond memories.

It's Friday and the weather is supposed to be nice so I decided to drive the Fury to work today.
My co-worker also thought it was a good idea to drive old iron today.

My buddy, who doesn't work here, owns the Impala. He and I went to lunch today so he decided to get in on the action. My Father-in-law pulled into the lot and said "Is there a car show this weekend?" :biglaugh:

I’ll tell ya, they’re all nice sitting there. That ‘65 Impala is a honey. Artesian Turquoise was my favorite ‘65-‘66 color. I had a ‘66 Sport Sedan like that one. Only mine had a black vinyl top, and black interior. Of course we had a ‘66 Impala Wagon in That color as well. So I’m sure that has something to do with my lust over that car.

I guess to your father in laws point where two or more car nuts, or old cars are gathered. It’s a car show.

I think his comment was more in the line of "there must be a car show this weekend, since everyone is driving their old iron today"

Oh I totally understand..... I would love to pull into a lot and see old cars... like I say... when there's two or more old cars. You have a car show!

The lots I pull into, anymore, have at least two or more Freaks wandering around in them, instead of the old cars
