Love this thread. Some rare family car photos. Something most of us don't have.

Most of us don't even have the rare family cars:nailbiting:
The resemblance is obvious. It almost looks like a duel about to be fought with spectacles:watching::watching:

I don't know what happened to the little camping trailer after they bought the Aristocrat. Grandpa may have traded it in. I'll have to ask my Dad. He might remember.

Well, the weather around here is deffinitely showing that spring is arriving. So, I had reason to pull the Fury out of the garage the other day. It has officially come out of hibernation.
During the winter we often throw cardboard that needs to be taken to the recycler's in the way back and it was full. So my youngest son and I took the Fury down to the recycling bin and cleaned it out. Then we decided to make a stop at the local Baskin Robins for some ice cream.

He loves to ride in the way back.

Perfect reason to get the Fury out and ice cream too. Love the hat!

Where do you suppose that ice should get crammed, Ma'am?

    Thanks Fannie.
His Grandparents brought the hat back for him from their recent trip to Australia.
And he knows where to cram the ice cream. He doesn't let any go to waste.

This is a great thread. When I wanted to add a second sports car I talked my wife into it by telling her I had a cool plan. Every other Friday in the Summer we would take both cars and one of us would have our son and then switch the next time. Some of the things we did were go mini golfing, going to the batting cages, going to the go cart track and going up to the airport and out to dinner. I picked places that I knew had big parking lots so I didnt have to worry about the cars getting damaged. But now I have the wagon so we can all go in one car and to any destination, but sometimes we can go in the other cars also. Family trips and memories are probably the main reason we own theses station wagons. I hope this thread continues, cool.

Thanks Millsy. I plan to keep it going, as long as there are adventures to be had in the Fury.

We had quite the weekend at the Orthmann house.

Saturday we went fishing at a local pond. The Greenway Association stocked the pond with 6000 fish. For $13 the boys each got a fishing pole, a T-shirt and a limit of two rainbow trout.

    They had a blast.

Sunday we went to the Old Steel car show in Union Gap at the AG Museum.

Boys had a great time there as well. We had a picnic out the back of the Fury.

Caleb's favorite color is green and he likes station wagons, so the Volvo was one of his favorites

After the show we went to a local park which is next to the Yakima Valley Museum. After the boys ran around and played for about an hour we left to go home. There is a 40's/50's Soda Fountain attached to the Museum building. The Soda Fountain is seasonal and hasn't opened yet. So I figured it was a good time to stage a photo with the Fury.

The weather was great both Saturday and Sunday.
I have to say I'm a pretty lucky guy.
