The amount of options that you could add back then was insane. Why offer a 3 on tree and 3 on the floor? Or stuff like like carpet was even optional on some Fords!

overall not a bad car...goofy late model seats. The glass is bad, body is pretty good. The strange part is the subframe. The builder cut an S10 frame in half, frt clip is complete S10 frame to behind the front door. The rear is the WHOLE frame,to the middle of the car.The factory frame is still there but only about three feet of it in the middle. It looks likw it was welded properly,I've just never seen it done that way.Its alot of wagon for the money.Dave

Yea,I like the idea of late model suspension but.......thats a hard one to figure. The rear wheels(if you really look)are not on center in the openings. The fronts are in a little bit.Having said that, primer, crome smoothies lower it and away you go.

i dunno i mean im the king of cheapo too but i just cant stand when they bastardize cars like that, matching ford + chevy and vice versa. i dont so much mind like for merc or chev and GM or even old to new. but keep it in the family. but if its a good deal to you buy it!!!
57 ford wagons are soo cool

For me it comes down to space!I've got a few other non-wagon projects taking up space.I only have a two car garage.I hate to leave them outside(and I'm sure the neighbors would to).
