Speaking of time capsules. In an older thread I mentioned a 71 Vista Cruiser for sale. It's back up for sale again. I have to talk the wife in to taking a look. If it's not too beat the price is right. Since it has the 455 engine it's probably loaded. My car goes in for emissions testing tomorrow. I have my fingers crossed. Oh my, could I be turning in to a collector? The Rev and others are a bad influence. I was quite happy with one wagon....
Welcome aboard! Actually before buying my wagon I almost bought a '75 Caprice Classic 2 Door. It was white with burgundy interior. It was very clean, but did have some rust issues around the vinyl top. Apparently if not taken care of water sits in the bottom channels and creates these nasty rust holes. Anyway it was a stock 350-2bbl car with really no bells and whistles at all. No power opitions. ( I figured less things that could break on it). Anyway I made an offer, but I guess I bid too low. No regrets though because if I had bought that car I couldn't afford my wagon I have now. My brother owned a Caprice just like that one in the late '80's. Talk about the land yachts. Well enough ramblings,
