OldAir, Southern Rods & Parts AC's, Vintage Air, all been out awhile and all seem to stand behind their products with help and parts.

AC seems to be a big selling point for any old car. Many people won't even look at a car for sale without it. As for me, I agree, windows and air vents were invented way before AC.
What gets me is half the people riding around with their windows up are wearing sweaters or jackets!

Sadly with late model junk, like my Dodge truck, no vent windows creates terrible wind noise and turbulance which messes up my hairs! Therefore have to run AC-vent-or heat all the time. Like you, I never used to use AC when we had ventwings.
AC is for girls and girlie guys!
Got a kick out of a hotrodder on that other hotrod site. His AC stopped working while at a car show in Missouri and his wife was upset. He was whinning about being too hot. Until we put AC in the 55 wagon, which still isn't finished, I never had AC in an older car, truck, bus, boat, motorcycle, or airplane.
All old cars have a number of fresh air ducts and windows. I'm thinkin this guy had an old Ford with a windshield that cranks out and a cowl vent. Of course, like all modern day hotrodders, he probably eliminated all of that.
