Yeah, I go to them anyway. :)

We just had a new one open up here last week. Strangely, I haven't gone yet but I'm just itching to try it out. We've gone through a mess of Thai places, Sushi places, Wing joints, and high priced "date" restaurants and now BBQ seems to be the current trend here. This is the second BBQ joint that's opened here in the last year.

http://www.smokintonysbbq.com/ I've been to Smokin Tony's a number of times now and, as always, I just can't get enough cornbread!![IMG]

I love thai food. Zoe makes a killer curry, and her hot wings are the best I have ever had. My dad got me hooked on cornbread and milk. Simple enough, just take cornbread the next morning, crumble it into chunks into a glass or bowl, and pour in the milk. Enjoy.

I'm not usually one to not find redeeming qualities in food but that stuff BK is calling Poutine is really bad. It's covered with Dr. Oetker canned gravy and topped of with excessive amounts of salt. I realize none of us go to BK 'cause we're eating healthy but that was just nasty. Even I couldn't finish it. :49:

Actually real Poutine is made with a poutine sauce, it looks like gravey but it's not.
It's actually is a little spicy....mmm...and served over of very hot fries smoother with cheese.
The cheese becomes stringy and clinks to the fries and the poutine sauce adds a wonderful spicy, slippery texture to those golen french fries...mmmmm heavenly.

I grew up in Jacksonville, home of Woodys.
Don't expect great BBQ, and you won't be disappointed.

Out here you don't get enough in one serving to not be able to finish it. What's neat is I get to eat all this nasty fun stuff, who'd of thought when I first tried it that I'd realize it was loaded with all this evil stuff. Life is very good.

You just can't get "real" poutine out this way that I've found. Often they use a meat based gravy and that does me in for days and days so this is the best alternative that I've found.

Tedy - the rest of my diet is so darned healthy I deserve one major domo sin. Of course I'm only "allowed" by the DW to eat this once or twice a year. It is my reward for eating lettuce many many many times a week.

BK's veggie burger is one of the best I've found for taste. I love them, and their green salads are pretty goshed darned good as well.

Preach it sister! Pierre's Poutine and Smoke's Poutine are both just a short walk from my office. With the good stuff so accessible, I'll never make the mistake of ordering BKs lame excuse for Poutine again!

So, as I sit here chewing on a hunk of Sharp chedder cheeze and sippin a soda known for it's corrosive properties, I realize our real relations with one another is eating lots and lots of discusting food!

    yipe!
Wagons are merely an excuse...an expensive excuse but it's worth it if we can talk about discusting food.

Can you buy Poutine sauce there?
