Yep. It's neat that Washington has allowed original plates to go back on old cars.
I still have the original plates for the Fury. I had to take them off when I was in High School because of the new law that was passed. Now they have altered it so original plates can be registered for classic/collector vehicles.
I have contemplated putting the original plates back on the Fury.

Florida laws allow original year unaltered plates. Of course they only have a rear plate. I paid near $100 plus transfer fees to get a legal 1955 plate for my wagon. I ran it for nearly 23 years and only got pulled over once after I first put the tag on.
Then it was a car-guy state cop friend who really wanted to look at the wagon. I felt better when, after I explained the tag, he called it in to be sure.

1955 Florida tag and new sticker.
The Illinois tag I ran front and rear in Illinois and sort of illegally in Florida.:cautious:

This one has seen better days.
But in spite of it's condition, the weeds aren't all grown up around it. It's possible it gets used or is in the process of being restored. I don't recall ever seeing it on the road, but it's certainly possible.

Not technically 'street' spotting...I watched "Boss Baby" with my cousins (twice removed, they're three and two), and the family in it have a woodsided wagon that looks like a Mopar product from the early Seventies. I'd post a clip, but all the YouTube content was ten or more minutes long. You can see the rear of it in the scene where the parents' boss takes them in a limo, it's in the driveway.

I'd be willing to bet it could at least be made roadworthy. '67 or '68 MY?

You re probly correct. It was in a yard with a bunch of other old iron. I wouldn't be surprised if it was being scavenged for parts.
    I figured the same thing, either a 67 or a 68.

It's the shape and number of taillight elements; I'm reasonably sure it's a '67.

    You picked a good picture!
Was looking at the red Pontiac Safari, then read the signs. I know EXACTLY where this is!

You are traveling northbound on the (405) San Diego Freeway, in West Los Angeles. National Bl. is your next exit on the right, and after that are the transition roads (east and west) to the (10) Santa Monica Freeway, west going to Santa Monica, only a short distance away, and east going to downtown L.A., about 15 miles or so... If you stay in the left lanes you'll pass over a small mountain range (more like big hills...) and get to the San Fernando Valley, and further on, Interstate 5 and northern Calif.

I lived about 2 miles due west of the location of this shot.

That Chevy Wagon is actually a '68.

The '67 has Rectangle type Tail Lights.

Haha. That’s nowhere near me! Looks like the picture was taken from the bus used in Ken Kesey’s liquid coolaid acid test
