Strange rear speaker mounting, aftermarket speakers less likely to fit, any advice?

Well right now all my headlights are junkyard salvage, 'cause I've been too broke to buy new ones, but they work pretty good, even though none of htem are the same brand, I think I actually have a Sylvania in there somewhere, high style there, junkyard fresh.

Anyway, back on the note of the stereo, I really think those Retrosound's would fit, but, I dunno if it's worth it, though I'm not terribly picky, I just know garbage from gold, Retrosound is the only brand besides Boss audio that has speakers with those mounting tabs, and I'd only use Boss Audio equipment for target practice, not listening.

I'll look into that sight though, I know the wiring of my headlights is a tad aged.

Anyway, what do you mean by a red green designed speaker system?

I found the PERFECT solution for the headlamp dilemma. I got a pair of the Hella headlamp units from Europe. The come with H-4 bulbs, so can use the factory wiring. I upgraded further, though, and got the PIIA Ultra-White H-3 bulbs. To make them work, I got an adapter kit. The one plug goes into the factory headlamp connector. All this does is trigger the relay. The harness connects directly to the battery, and replaces the old wiring, fresh grounds and all. Took about 10 minutes to install, and no cutting of the factory harness required. Strictly and plug-in installation. Works an absolute treat. People think I'm NUTS having $300 worth of headlamps in Nora, but I like to see where I'm going on dark country road. Low beams shine about a half mile. Highs, about 1 mile. Best of all, with the sharp European style cut off, there is no spill and no glare for other drivers. They are also U.S. DOT approved.
