Curious as to what everybody is planning to buy, sell or work on in 2024......

As for me, I'm hoping to buy SOMETHING, but it probably won't happen until later in the year. Not sure it's going to be a station wagon, though. We've currently only got one vehicle - the 2018 Ford Edge. Don't plan on replacing it anytime soon. It only recently hit 60k miles.

I need something that can carry home stuff I buy at the big box store, like 4x8 sheet goods, and other assorted lumber. The easiest solution would be so simply buy one of those small Harbor Freight trailers, but I'm sort of missing having my OWN vehicle to drive around in. There have been occasions when we've both had to been some place (doctor's appointment usually) at near the same time.

I plan on finishing what was left over to be done last year and the year before first, before even thinking of planning something new for this one

This year I'm looking to get repop front seat upholstery for the wagon and also pricing new carpeting for it, if the cost isn't to bad I'll probably get it.

Marshall, I thought you had a pickup? Like a Dodge Dakota or something along those lines. Maybe I'm miss-remembering.

I am planning on (hopefully) getting the A/C working in the Fury before it becomes Nathaniel's car in June. I'm going to be working on my 67 F-250 and hopefully selling it, working on my 89 F-350 crew cab and selling it and working on my 74 F-350 crew cab. I'm keeping the 74 though.

I did - a 2006 crew cab with a 5-foot bed. Sold it some months ago. Spent part of the proceeds on new living room furniture.......

Finish rebuilding the suspension of my wagon, then roll it out of the garage to work on my son's project (or two).

Not sure if I'll get back to the engine swap this year. Need to buy parts, finances are FUBAR.

An update, just ordered the new seat upholstery for the 85, I went with the kit from https://www.topsonline.com/ since it includes head & arm rests along with the seat bottoms & backs.

And another update, just ordered the new carpeting from https://gahh.com/, I've ordered a couple rolls of MB tex from them before and the price for the new carpet was pretty reasonable with a 25% discount.

So I can't wait to see what comes in within the next few weeks.
Of course I hate to think of the credit card bill coming in at the end of the month.

Between now and spring hubby is hoping to get the Cavalier ready for it's Safety Inspection. Brakes, fix the floor and a new top. Hopefully that is everything.

On Fannie, I am hopeful he can get the body back on the frame and get the motor and transmission back together. Then we will see how things go from there.
