I'm another one who mostly collects 1/18 scale diecast cars. I have a couple hundred scattered around the house. I too wish there were more 1/18 scale wagons available.
Part of the reason I want a 1:1 vintage wagon, is to turn it into a sort of mobile display case, so that the approx 4'x8' 1/18 scale dioramas I built with the help of a couple of friends, could go along to some car shows.
The diorama of the Grand Spaulding Dodge dealership measures about 4'x7'. The Bob's Big Boy diorama measures about 4'x8'.

...and heres a few more diorama pictures. I know its getting a bit off topic, at least until one of these dioramas is on display in the back of a vintage wagon at a car show. But in the thread on 18th scale wagons I posted a couple photos of Ford woody wagons cruisin the Bob;s Big Boy diorama.

Wow, is that ever neat. Geez, all these neat ideas. My wife would kill me if I added another fun thing to the house. My wife is a clean freak and if it is hard to dust we get into frown city. She already shakes her head when she walks into the library to dust. So many little things I've collected in the way it drives her nuts. (y)

Picked up this 1/64 '70 Chevelle Hot Wheels the other day. Please excuse the poor quality picture. Not a great camera.

    Thats cool!
I will see if I can find one of those for myself.
I decided to put white stripes on my Olds because yellow with black stripes seemed so. Chevy . not that there's anything wrong with that.:biglaugh:

I was googleing some model parts this morning and I saw where Don and Carol at Model Haus , a resin casting company are doing several new wagons in 1-25th scale . Resin can be tricky to work with and the price is well, sometimes high. Still, I know tthese people personaly and I know Don Holtaus's work . You could swear that his resin is styereene plastic .
