I still enjoy driving I-65 and I-24 around Nashville during shift change. I don't have time to be lookin at statues of people with guitars and things ya'all.
Indeed. I can't remember the last time took interstate 65 through town which is where you would go if your reading signs. (Or gps!!) keep that quiet man! Traffic is piling up around here!
Could someone get the satellite pic of this one. As much as I'd love to go to Nashville I'm not sure I'll get there.
360 degrees of full frontal nudity. Ok I stole one off the internet because I ain't going down to tourist town anytime soon..to many cops...parental advisory recommended
Here ya go,and yes, I think that is a guitar shaped swimming pool. To the left Like I said hadn't been down there in a bit. Notice the new constuction yard. Condos probably. Growing very fast. My question always remains, where are they going to put all the cars?!?!
Are you sure that statue is in Nashville, USA and not Nashville, France? I'd get dizzy riding around and round that round-a-bout. Break off a couple of arms and it would look historic. It could be a violin shaped hot tub.
Lately, I've been making a 'sport' of travelling the roundabouts. You 'win' if you are able to approach and travel through the roundabout with out stopping to yield to other vehicles. Went through that one I posted a pic of the other day, going west to east - made it through clean as a whistle.
I'd much rather see a hillbilly fiddlin around than a violinist squeaking. Krash you are a professional congested traffic driver. I'd need a potty break about half way around that one. Florida had several smaller roundy bouts but so far I haven't seen any here in the middle of Illinoiz. People here still have trouble at a four way stop.
Yeah, there's three between Everett, where I live, and Granite Falls, where Dad lives with my brother and sister-in-law, Tim and Kate (forgive me if I have mentioned it already), but yeah, I not only try to get through unimpeded, but really fast to test my handling skills, and since that route goes to a quarry, I do my best to beat the stinger dump trucks and side dumpers when they approach the one outside of GFalls. Sometimes I'm lucky, and sometimes I get got. But I will not get hit, I'm neither dangerous nor stupid.
Stinger dump trucks and side dumpers always have the right of way. The new four lane highway bypass recently opened not more than 1/2 mile from the house. I can see a tiny piece of it through the bushes now that the leaves are gone. What has always been a narrow two lane rural county road intersecting another county road is now a hazard waiting to happen regularly. They added red blinking lights around the county road stop signs but for some reason locals still don't stop and pull right out in front of vehicles on the four lane. Since the corn fields are empty there are no restrictions from seeing even a Smart Car either way. Maybe they should have took another 2o acres and made a round about!
