Well the Rev wasn't going to do anything so.........:rofl2:

    I now have 460 for the wagon:clap:

Sorry, crappy pics:slap:...but you'll get the idea

It's a 1975 460, the trans and bell housing are there, but my....I hate these new cameras:mad:.........

Comes with alot of extra parts, new timing cover and chain as a extra bonus along with a 460 truck for all engine brackets etc, what ever I take

No $ changed hands, it's a trade off deal with my bud next door, and we are both happy with the deal tonite[IMG]......

The carb is in the bag........on top of a 428, witch he wouldn't let me have......should have took over more[IMG]..................:rofl2:

Anyways.... gona have to put some $ into the mill, re-gasket to be safe, ignition but at 4 gallons to the mile I'll take a 460 4V over a extra smog 400 2V any day:dance:

Selling the Crewzers wuld speed things up, no intrest though....other than the silver parts wagon for the drive train.......I see a barn storage time for them, the blue one is tooooo nice still to be let in the wrong hands.

I think this weekend I'll remove the tale gate panel and see just what it really is. Even my old timer buds have never seen it on any ford before.

Well, got a reply and it's not the rite sending unit, but at least now I have a correct part number to work with... D1AZ-9275-B, and of course they don't sell one and they even tried "PARTSVOICE" (A NATIONWIDE PARTS DATABASE) for me and could not find one.

So I'm off to the auto parts store and see if with the part number if I can find a cross refrennce as per there sugestion.............

Try Green Sales. They don't have your part number listed on their website, but they might be able to help.

Thanks for the link Kevin:wave:, I just emailed them.

The old guy at the parts store....well we all have heard "like finding hen's teeth"......I have a new one now, he said to me..."your gona have better luck finding _____ on a salmon"....Family show...what he was refering too was the upper portion of the females body chest area;)

But very helpfull none the less, he photo copied a few pages of universal sending units, just may have to rip the tank out to find the correct depths/numbers that may/may not work. Hell, Tank is gona come out anyway to be cleaned again, so if I don't have a working gas gauge, who cares! I'll rig it for fuil and drive a tank till I run out of gas, just keep the miles per tank recoreded....been there done that before.

To recap, front the first page of this thread.....

This is a little 'door' that's part of the tail gate belt molding. Sme brochure documentation indicates that there was a rare tail gate window washer option on some Fords and Mercurys. Press abutton or something, you lower the glass into the gate, and it comes up clean. Apparently the little door is to fill the fluid reservoir.
