With a buddy's help, we swapped out the non working speedometer and gas gauge with pieces from another gauge cluster. I now have a working speedometer, but the pre-tested gas gauge still doesn't work. Its a new sending unit in the gas tank and the ground at the tank seems to be working properly. So guessing its in the wiring or the reproduction circuitboard on the back of the gauge cluster. Meanwhile, I took the wago to a local cruise in along with a few friends with their cars, and the wagon won a trophy for best car at the event. It's first award!! Always liked how the "D" pillar on these Plymouth and Dodge wagons mimicks the "C" pillars on the hardtops.

The adjustable cross rails for the factory luggage rack on my wagon were rusted out. Unable to find good replacements, I installed the rack without the cross bars. Recently at a local cruise in I spotted a custom roof rack on a Dodge A-100 van. It even had a slick removable surfboard rack that could be attached to the side. I approached the guy about making replacment bars that would work with the pot metal end pieces and have the correct arch to them. I picked up the new bars on friday and installed them yesterday. They look great and fit perfectly.

Tonight was the last cruise in of the year at Hagerstown Valley Mall in Maryland. After the cruise in, we stopped for dinner at the Charles Town Family Diner in West Virginia, on our way home to Virginia.
