The only other vehicle that might appear in the episode would be my Dad's '67 Chevy truck. We were storing the FJ in my Dad's garage, alongside his truck.

Ah. You should've been car photobombing them, just in case it makes it on the episode.

    It premieres TONIGHT, folks.....

Also...check your TV system to see when it comes on. The commercial posted above indicates 10/9 central, but at least in my area, on HIST HD, it's coming on at 7 PM.

Watched it. A 12-pack of soda...for a Delorean?!? Man, they got really lucky finding the parts car, because without it, just like the Purple Nerple, they would've been sunk. And the Subaru (waaayyy) minivan cart was pretty cool also.

I love Rutledge's tow vehicle. Looks like he used Lizard Skin to insulate the inside. A little hinky, finding a DeLorean parts car, I think. Would have liked to see a little bit about the assembly of the Subaru.

Yeah, was very cool to meet Rut and George. And to see and sit in his tow vehicle.

Without the parts car, they would have been SOL. The Subaru golf cart conversion was very cool.

Have to say I'm a bit disappointed.....

They showed virtually none of the work done on the Delorean, and it certainly looks like the 'parts car' ended up being the one that got rebuilt. One minute you see a very badly-painted purple Delorean (that's been in a hurricane/flood, and is rusted out completely on the under-side) sitting along side a decent-looking Delorean shell (no doors or hood, no engine); and after the commercial break, up drives a seemingly all-complete (but not perfect) Delorean.

They spent way too much time clowning around (the 'race' with the golf carts...). Maybe they needed to establish the show'd 'personality' in the first episode, I don't know. I really like Rutledge Wood, but I want to see him involved in the builds, not just saying, "Let's do this!"
