Thanks, KK. I for one don't want side walks.... I would loose over 1/2 the parking and, yes we all know there would be a tax hike involved. It is city property where I did this, but I don't care even if I had to pay for the gravel! Even when I did round one I learned because of bylaws I can not bring in a Bobcat to scrape and level (witch would have been nice) with out a permit and all the BS involved. Yet doing it the old fashioned way by hand is OK.

Well off to spend $ today, Mama wants some new shower doors for the house, Home Repo here we come........

I was behind the garage and.... say  to my little friend!:slap::evilsmile:

I don't even want to ask! Yep. parking area looks nice. You seem to have the same laws most others do! Stupid ones involving money.
I strill don't understand what good the cement will do after it gets wet and thinned out. Yes, it will kill weeds, this season. :drink:But can't knock the cost.:beerchug:

Cement powder, gravel and soil....... it's like adding flour/corn starch to gravy. sooner than later it will turn into hard pack if you keep adding it;)

    Sometimes Dollie's gravy gets lumpy!
Even the 1/2" white rock packed pretty good over the years.
Down here the back roads are lime rock. It's dusty when dry. It gets gooey when wet but eventually packs like cement. Then they plow it and mess it up over and over. :banghead3:
First time we ever lived on a dirt road. The good thing is there are very few neighbors and everyone else is afraid to drive down the dead end cause they heard there's crazy people living here. :biglaugh:

I worked with a guy a few years ago who had a former co-worker named Richard Head. The guy had been going by the name Dick since before it's negative connotations were commonplace. Even once he became aware that "Dick Head" was humorous he continued to use the name. My buddy said it was funny to listen to him answer the phone as he would pause after his first name, "Dick.......Head speaking.".
