Ian, you are an amazingly strong man. To be going through all you and your wife are going through and to still want us to stay informed is nothing short of amazing. God bless you, your wife and Delaney. I'm sure this entire tribulation is weighing heavily on both you and your wife; it's not surprising the stress is taking its toll, but now is one of those times when you have to remember why you married each other in the first place and that is because of the love you share. Every day living with all of its problems and trials tend to make us forget that. Now, more than ever, Delaney needs the love you have for each other and for her. Don't forget Delaney is a physical example of that love and anything that has created such a miraculous blessing like Delaney has to be directly from God and more deeply rooted than even you or wife know. Think, for one minute, if you had to go though all this by yourself, without the support and foundation of having your wife there. I dare say it would be unbearable. If you both lean on each other and rely on the love and respect that made you two decide to share the rest of your lives together in the first place, believe me you, your wife, Delaney and your marriage will not only survive, but be incredibly stronger and more in love with each other than you can ever imagine. Delaney needs not only the both of you right now, but the love, the nurturing and the strength of your marriage as well. Delaney's in good hands and it seems to me come Tuesday, she'll be well on her way to being back in her Mommy's and Daddy's arms, where she belongs. Stay strong and stay in love, my friend.
Ian, your wife has the stronger bond with Delaney, protect her heart from the technical torture. She must be ripping herself apart. Motherhood is magical bro.
praise god delaney made it through the surgery with everything going as planned. thank you for your prayers and thoughts. doctor also said the spot on her heart is calcified muscle that formed in utero and is nothing to worry about. -ian
Ian, that's wonderful, wonderful news. You have made my day. As I was sipping my coffee this morning, I thought to myself that today was Delaney's surgery day. I'm so glad everything went as planned and that the spot is nothing to worry about. What's the next step, now? Is she all done with her surgeries and can go home after she recuperates? I hope so. You and your wife need to take her back home and get things back to the way they were with little Delaney being the light of your lives. It will happen soon. Godspeed.
Dear Ian, Praise God indeed! God Bless that surgical team! I am so happy for you, Jenn, Delanie and your whole family! This has been an excruciating experience for your young family, and many blessings will be realized once you, Jenn and sweet Delanie get through this ordeal. Prayers are still going out for you, and you are in my thoughts always. David
