Went to Florida to visit family for the Thanksgiving holiday and spent one day at the Turkey Rod Run show at the Daytona Speedway. I took about 800 pics before my last camera battery died. There were lots of wagons at the show. The 4 day event fills the infield of the track with thousands of show cars, vendors, and a crowd estimated at 100,000 according to TV news reports. Friday was windy and temperature was in the mid 60's. Saturday, the temp was in the 70's, but I didn't go back a second day. The show seemed to be larger than it was the last time I went in 2002.

Heres a few of the wagons you'll find among the pics in the links in my original post. You'll find alot more in the albums.

Great pics, I'm still going through them:2_thumbs_up_-_anima

Interesting Diplomat you posted, I'm pretty sure that is a 58 Canadian only "DODGE" model that share the front Desoto sheet metal with the standard Plymouth.

I've seen the Canadian Diplomats in pictures, but that was the first one I have seen at a show.

Thanks for the great pictures. Our favorite car show of all. We used to go over on Wednesday and head home on the Monday after or late Sunday. Age finally keeps us away. As my wife said, at least we get to look at all of these nice pictures.:yippee:
My friend was over today and said the show was even bigger than he remembers in the past. Sadly only 140 miles and we can't go!:banghead3:

My wife and I just finished looking at all of the pictures.:camera: Just sold a 1950 Studebaker Commander 4-door. Two of them, look like 1951's in your photos. 1950 has 2-piece windshield.
That's a lot of photos in one day!:yahoo: We also enjoy the stationary engine displays. Glad you added some of those.

I was so sure you would have picked the 67 Cougar convertible.
