So he's at it again, my neighbour.

We had about 4tons of gravel delievered last night, in the pouring rain, to go under the new shed. Because it has been raining(very hard) for the past few days. The truck dumped the gravel in the driveway, some distance from where we needed it.

I got home from work this evening and Billy has spend most of the day(according to my sister) moving the gravel(with his tractor) into the box for the shed.

What do you do with people like that? This is the same guy who cut down all my trees...hard to be upset with him.

It is quite possible Fannie that this fellow feels some remorse over his actions and this is his way of showing he made a bad decision. That said, he's certainly doing a lot of good things for you. What do you do with a neighbor like that? Have him over for a BBQ and enjoy his company. That's what being good neighbors is all about, right?

I think I scare him abit...when I drove up the hill I could see his tractor in the second driveway (where the gravel was) I stopped for a second on the street then pulled into our first driveway. I didn't see them sitting out in front of their house until I got out of the truck. I started over to his house(directly across from ours) and he and his friend are yelling at me "don't look behind the house yet". I didn't look I just kept walking right over and gave him a big hug and thanked him for doing this for us. On my drive home I had been thinking about shovelling all that rock and was not looking forward to it at all.
I think your right about him feeling bad about the trees because as I started to leave he said "I don't want you to get mad at me again so I fix your lawn over the weekend". Apparently his tractor got stuck several times...our side yard is completely ripped up.
I forgave him about the trees awhile ago, their gone nothing that can be done about it, just got to get past it. The great things he has done for me and other neighbours on the street far outweight the tree thing.
As for a BBQ he won't come we have tried before, he want even take any cash. I'll pick out a gas card for the tractor and maybe a liquor store gift card, he does enjoy his beer. :drink:
