Parking Authority Auctions

There was a quick news bite about the first ever Parking Authority Auction to be held here, soon. They didn't give a date, but my guess is they'll wait until warmer weather (April 1 is the usual Police Auction). I think they're warning any ticket scoffers to get it together. Some of these folk have parking tickets since 1999, by the 100's.

I'll call tomorrow and get a date and maybe a weblink.

This is an old March 2000 article about the annual Police auction. The monthly fees for impounded cars were about $270 per month. The Officer said some cars weren't even worth $200.

The funny thing is the news-caster gave the street address and that it was on Friday. Don't know why there wasn't anything posted on the Parking website. Virtually no prior notice to the public.

 

Thats so the employees get the best deals!
