There was a quick news bite about the first ever Parking Authority Auction to be held here, soon. They didn't give a date, but my guess is they'll wait until warmer weather (April 1 is the usual Police Auction). I think they're warning any ticket scoffers to get it together. Some of these folk have parking tickets since 1999, by the 100's. I'll call tomorrow and get a date and maybe a weblink. This is an old March 2000 article about the annual Police auction. The monthly fees for impounded cars were about $270 per month. The Officer said some cars weren't even worth $200. http://www.cbc.ca/news/story/2000/03/31/03312000_impound.html
hello Cool! I love those auctions, hope to visit some soon. But first gotta get my trucking business on the go. And then hopefully I can travel some again. Cheers! K
The funny thing is the news-caster gave the street address and that it was on Friday. Don't know why there wasn't anything posted on the Parking website. Virtually no prior notice to the public.
