    Holey Road Batboy.

Actually the potholes in the midwest and east coast seem worse filled with that cheap tar mix than if they left the hole open.

We live half way down a lime rock road and travel another 1/4 mile on another to get home and out. Nearly every month for over 20 years it got graded except those non-rainy periods when it didn't need it. I think someone drives down our rural roads checking them to see if they need graded or not.
The lime rock gets so hard it is almost like concrete. The only bad thing is it's terrible in rain and terrible when it hasn't rained in a long time. Either gooey or dusty. But in between they are fine.
Still better than cheap oil and chip black top with pot holes.

The narrow lane we are going to move to has that oil and chip which really becomes black top over time. Looks good in pictures. If I burn rubber with my wagon wonder if the other seven neighbors will mind?

it had started making a klunking noise in the front end on the way home last time and this time it was getting worse, then it was also time for the airbag recalls, an oil change and a new gas tank. they said it had something to do with the face that when the car got down to around 50 miles till empty and i filled up , it would stall 3 or 4 times right afterwards and then run fine. all that plus a new thermostat and alignment was $300 with the warranty picking up most of the cost
