Pontiac's are by far the most rare of the boxy wagons, especially the early 80's models. There seem to be a lot of 77-79 and then the Cheviac '84 and newer ones, but you hardly see the 80-82 models. Love the old-style dashboard. Neat car! Welcome! -Mike
Sidebar........ Alan - I was on that Replica Plastics site, and it mentioned the fillers were 'fiberglas plastic' (IIRC). These fillers seem to me to be a type of urethane. I'm not sure I want to go with a different material.
Fiberglas wouldn't be a deal breaker for me, but their products looked kinda cheesy and I couldn't tell a lot from the pictures they showed of their product. They don't really look like the ones I need. I found another site in CA that makes them from ABS plastic, but they are proud of them. I think around $500 for a complete set, front and rear. www.bumper-fillers.com They have made the rear set into a 2 piece replacement unit and my rear is totally missing. On the front, I only need the 2 side pieces. They don't specifically list a Pontiac, but state they have many models not listed on their site. They do show a couple of Pontiacs in their listing.
Welcome aboard, Old Fox. That is one of the cleanest B-body wagons I've ever seen. For some reason, many cars of that body type are missing their bumper fillers. $500. for a complete set seems a bit steep. Jack
OldFox, the site you mentioned, those front ones won't fit. They are for 83-84 Parisienne which won't work on your 80-81 I don't think. The rears are for coupes and sedans, won't work on your wagon. I'm tempted to load up a set of Torino fillers and send them to him for reproduction. 73 front, 74-76 front, 74-76 Elite front, 74-76 rear, 74-76 Elite rear (this will also cover 73-76 Montego and 74-76 Cougar and fronts for wagons and Rancheros). I have most of those already either on my car or as spares that don't fit, haha. So maybe if he'll let me pay for the tooling to add those to his catalog, I can get my originals returned and a new set for use when I send it off for paint someday.
