So I am going to have to jack the car up and crawl under it... I'm glad my roommate/landlord/loony has ramps.
What Cat said. And I gave you the bulletins so that you can google the numbers and peruse them for any info and tips they may contain. Sometimes these are worthless and other times they will inform you of a fix on something that has been bugging you about the car.
A hoist would be best. If you do it on the ground with the car up....be very careful and make SURE the car is stable before getting under it.
Silverfox, as I wrote on the airport limo post, our work here is done. Xavier, being in your shoes, or similar highheel stelettos, I figured money may be an issue. Ask the guys at the parts house which O 2 they suggest and maybe do the other another time. We're packing our bags for the road trip to Utah! I've got the down payment on the airport limo, a sixpack of Bud and diet Pepsi for the other kid. Ha Ha I get to go. I'm buyin the limo. Or one just like it, or different. That's what people say at the car shows. Dad's uncle Joe had one of those but his was black with four doors and I think it was a Buick.
I only have access to ramps. I used them to change the oil and filter on my car. Do you guys trust RockAuto? I have added an image capture of the prices I found there... What do you think? I edited the size of the picture because it was hard to see.
Not to hijack my own thread here but... I have been meaning to post this and haven't gotten to it yet. This beauty is here in Joplin. I have more pics...
Ramps are not too good on dirt. make sure they are not going to sink or shift. Don't ask! I have one good eye and still one not good. I couldn't see the rockauto prices. My son has ordered a lot of things from them. Good service.
I resized the image of the price listings. I think that the guy said that it was a Checker Airport shuttle. I don't remember the year. 67? He got kinda upset when I called it a wagon.
Rockauto is fine. The Standard brand are fine for your car. They match OEM and are used by most independent mechanics.
By looking at the picture there doesn't seem to be a difference between the upstream and the downstream... Is there a difference?
