Different strokes, I guess. I would be miserable in your position. I don't like being tied down with responsibilities. Got to have some space.

Deffinatly different strokes, I would think life a hallow waste without my wife and kids. When the first wife and I split up and she had custody of the kids and I had them every other weekend. I was so bored and didnt know what to do with my time. Batchlor life was a sad miserable and lonely experiance for me. I have 3 sons 16 year old, a 15 year old and a 22 month old and a 4 year old daughter. Im glad I have them spread out like that, coz in 3 years I would be hack to being a sad person with little to occupy my time. My kids are my life and I cant wait to have grandbabies. I hope I do before I hit 40, so i have atleast 20-30 years of life left to spoil them rotten and send them home to their parents, like my parents do to mine.

Thats why they make so many different types of cars, for people with different tastes for people with different outlooks in life. Enjoy your life as you see fit, Im lovin everyday with my family.

My best friend is a lot like you, about his kids, anyhow. I have always enjoyed the freedom that comes with no obligations.

First off, I don't remember any mention of "one nighters", and don't really know what this has to do with this discussion. Second, I did have a son from a previous marriage. My wife and I divorced when he was 6 years old. She made it very difficult for me to be a part of his life. As things happen, he died is an accident on his way home from school when he was 16. Never had any more. If you are happy in your present situation, I wish you the best........hope you have a dozen grandkids. Your lifestyle is not for me and mine not for you. 'Nuff said.........Now, let's get back to station wagons...........

Dont need to be so damn touchy about it, Damn man. You said you dont like Obligations, I said I like one nighters too, its called a joke, get it? Sorry for your loss of your child. I lost my 16 year old brother inlaw to a underaged drunk driver when he was walking home. Being the towns mayors son, he got off 100% free and clear. Thats why I do not drink and hate Politicians.

For your information, Blackfoot, your last post has been reported to the moderators. There is no reason to "flame" another member because his/her opinion is inconsistant with yours. You last post is definitely offensive and not appreciated.

:banghead3: ok you two, take it outside!!!! :boxing:

both of yinz, step back a lil here

    1. Dodgeguy, thats awful about your son.... i think my dad can identify with you a lil bit as my mom made it imposible for him to see me when i was a kid.
    2. in his defense, i could see how blackfoot could gather that you may like "one nighters" because with teletype there is no emotion aside from the silly little smileys and he probably thought when you said "i dont like obligations" that you were including long-term relationships.
it was a joke ..poorly timed on his part, no offense was intended im sure.

    Blackfoot,
dont beat a dead horse here.... not everyone is a family person. some people just prefer being married with no kids. and consider neices or nephews like their kids or may for personal reasons be it placing a higher value on personal freedom or just plain dont want kids. ( i was still on the fence when jen got pregnant and to be honest im scared.)
i got your joke to dodge but i think....like most of my jokes...it was bad timing.

Yeah, well, I will do my best to stay away from Mr. Dudge. A joke is just that a joke(hence my LMAO at the end of it), 99% of us saw my post for just what it was, a joke, as will Wagonmaster Im sure.

FYI, I never EVER "flamed" you. Get yourself a sence of humor or just ignore my posts. I love to joke around and you obviously cant handle it. Have a good day Mr. Dodgeguy.

    Next!

I could see where this thread was going, so, this is why I mentioned in my next to last post, 'Nuf said, now let's get back to station wagons. That should have been the end of it. Obviously, Blackfoot wants to continue on, judging from his last 2 posts.
