Newbie, North Florida: '68 Tempest Wagon, (2) '67 Sportwagons

    Yep, same Verdoro green! Mine is still on the trailer. The previous owner took it apart and had plans to convert it to Chevelle front end w/Chevy power, he didn't get too far with those dreams.
    My plans are to run a Pontiac 400 engine w/an overdrive trans to hopefully pull some decent mpg's out of it. I'll resist the temptation to do a GTO conversion since a stock Tempest wagon is a rarity in itself anymore!

    I'll keep an eye out for a rear seat for you, unfortunately wagons are few & far between in this area. I've been looking for a good black front seat, if nothing comes up I'll see what the local shops can stitch up for me.

    Jer, good pun and thanks for the kind words. I prefer the pontiac too, and would rather have a 68-72 Olds Vista Cruiser than the Buick sporties.
