In that case with the desert dirt, I would get the rear panel off and blow as much dirt and dust out as I could with compressed air and a vacuum. Then I'd start lubing every point and track I could find with PB Blaster. If the motor clicks it should be able to start running once all of the moving parts are freed up. Good luck!

Welcome Bald 61. I could be your brother. I’m 61 and bald. Lol. Nice collection of wagons. Are you in New Mexico? Read about the NM dirt in the ‘70 Pontiac. Looks like he had some other neat stuff as well. Like the Grand Marquis parked in the background of the Dodge picture. Good luck with all of them.

    Hey 60Mercman,

Yes, we could be! I live in South Texas but originally from New Mexico. My family and friends have a lot of cars in West Texas, New Mexico and Arizona. Yeah, there are quite a few cool cars still in the yard.

Like the ‘58 and ‘59. I never understood why Mercury spent all that retool money to thin out the C pillar between’58 and ‘59. You could tell McNamara wasn’t pulling the purse strings lol. Request like the ‘57-‘60 wagons of all stripes.

I'm in Edinburg / McAllen area, so we're not far from each other. We should catch up sometime, I always enjoy a great car conversation.

Hey Bald61. Go ahead and post the truck. We love seeing all kinds of old trucks and cars here. Just don’t post it with Russian sub titles. That could get dicey. Lol.
