    My mom had one. The window locks rattle over 100 MPH!!! :evilsmile: Especially with a 351 Windsor under the hood! :biglaugh::biglaugh:

    That is just awesome you saved that '71. I bought my first Country Squire in 2005 somewhat the same way as you did. His '77 "stopped running" as he told me. I found it, left my name and number on it. Then a few months later he called. I bought the '77 Country Squire for $150, not running. And all it was, the fuel pump.

    However, your Ford seems to be WAY more solid than mine was. IL salt had its way with mine, to the point the floors where going to have to be replaced and just about every panel below the belt line.

    Wow, great find on that wagon.......love the Torino, red looks great on that car. I remember seeing rail cars loaded with new Torinos up in Hapeville, GA at the Ford plant when I was a kid.....very noticable with all the graphics they used on the sides of those models. Yours isn't a Hapeville car by any chance?
