    Hi All,
We are Larry & Sylvia from Erie, Colorado, just north of Denver. We currently drive an all original 59 Rambler Cross Country wagon, our favorite among our classic cars.
I just found this forum this week while looking for information on my newest station wagon accessory, a Tote Motel station wagon camper. Apparently there were some posts a year or so ago about one just east of Denver... well he never sold it and relisted it this week, and we bought it. It's really cool but it does need a little work. Our business (www.retrorestoration.com) is restoring vintage campers from the 40's to the 60's, but this one is going into our private collection of rare campers. The Tote Motel is a bit too big to fit on the little Rambler, so we are seriously looking for a suitable wagon to put it on. Preferably from the 60's (the camper is a 64 we think), perhaps one in the early 70's will work. Has to have a drop down tailgate with no lift gate, bigger V8 would be nice as I want to pull a vintage boat behind as well.
Thanks for letting us join, I've been a long roof fan for years.

Yeah, we had quite a discussion about that car top camper. Glad it went to the right person. Welcome to our family. We can sure help you out with your wagon choices. Very nice Rambler, BTW.

:Welcome:Larry in Colorado. Very nice Rambler. I'm sure you are familiar with the Rambler Ranch in Co.

That vintage station wagon camper is great. I've never seen one before.

Welcome Larry and Sylvia! Gorgeous Rambler Wagon. By the looks of that Tote with the walk-in (over tailgate), it would seem to me that a 1964 Studebaker Daytona wagon with the Sliding roof would be the cat's meow, except that they're short as well. Good luck with the search.:Welcome:

You could migrate from cold to warm and back to green and clean, all year long. Lots of roadside stops all over the continent.:biglaugh: Making fuel might take up space for a still, but a pensioner could do it easily.:thumbs2:
