 joined this site as a start for a craving I have had for a mid 60s to mid 70s station wagon. I'll probably take my time looking, and observing what you guys have done with your rides and maybe cruising to some meets to see them in person. I currently have a 2004 mercury marauder that takes up my time and money but I will be selling that and find something that I can throw the wife and dogs in and do some traveling. Jeff,,,

Welcome to the Nuthouse we call home! As you make up your mind about what you want, be sure to let us know. We're GREAT at spending YOUR money! LOL Also, check out the auctions/for sale threads. Not only do you get to see what is out there, but also what we, your friendly neighbourhood experts, think of the cars and the prices.

:Welcome:Jeff and family you're the very first hillbilly to join the group. We'll be keeping an eye on you for awhile to see if we can trust you around station wagons. Look around and see what kinds of wagons we love and play with. Maybe we can find one just for you and your family.

You'll find that I can be trusted, and the wagon I pick will feel like she is a teenager again after I'm through with her motor and suspension. I think this move to a wagon will be great and my wife and I both like to head out on a trip and just drive without an agenda. Maybe we can pull a small retro camper behind it.! We will See !

Sounds like a great plan Jeff. Many wagon owners also fix up older RV's and even join clubs. Years ago we took our family several times to Beech Bend camping and playing at the old amusement park.
Our greatest camping adventures were when we hooked up and just aimed the wagon in some basic direction, not knowing where we'd end up. Sadly this modern day reservation system messes it up sometimes.

    Welcome!

My wife and I have done and are doing something similar.

We're heading from Georgia up the east coast and back down. Hanging with friends, drinking, camping, and whatever else we feel like doing.
