Time to turn to an interior.
I have to admit to something and be fully honest. I dont like interior work and loath wiring. I cant afford to job both out so I'll go with what I can and thats fumble through doing the interior.

With the outside being satin black, the interor trim is also satin. And red... well because I have a few red accents and I like a lady wearing red:bowdown:

The last two panels in the back I'm doing in Red and Black. The black is for my Pinstripe guy Kelly to do his magic.

with the ribs in place the interior is as far as I can take it for now. I'll order a seat upholstery kit and carpeting but thats for next month.

for now its more mechanical and the job out project of wiring.
Since taking these pictures I've installed a new master and 4 wheel cylinders, hooked up the tranny plumbing, modified the overdrive kick to fit and found a rear bumper.

On monday a trailer arrived and we hauled it over to a friends who will deal wit hthe electrical for me. It should be home by next friday. Once home, I need to build the exaust and she'll be road ready.

The next update will be a video of driving it around the yard... wooo hooo!!!

I sure wish I had your energy level, Lono. That aside....you have, once again, done a stellar job and built another beauty.(y)
    EDIT:
AND....your pictorial and texted presentation of the build couldn't be better!

Try using 58-60 352 motor mounts. The 390 should havetwo sets of holes for mounts. the rest is a piece of cake...hmmm, think I'll go have one with coffee. hutch57

Nice valve covers. Wagon cleaned up pretty good. When did you start working on this one?

Lono, I've said it before, YOU ROCK! You have the skills, garage and tools that most men only dream of.

I love your '57 Ford! It looks so fantastic! You are doing an amazing job on it! :2_thumbs_up_-_anima

The only thing I'm not sure of are the wind deflectors at the rear. They strike me as each being installed on the wrong side. :hmmm:

And, other than just looking cool (and sometimes that's all that matters), I'm kind of foggy on their purpose.
Are they for keeping the window cleaner? Moving exhaust? Not sure. But they do look cool. :yup: I like 'em.

    David :)

Nice work Lono, hope mine turns out as nice.

Incidentally the bumper is right side up, and the deflectors should really be swapped side to side. But.... 390 is the WAY TO GO!
