I just about sh** myself, the young guy I sold it to has it up for sale now. He said he was gona keep it green and dump a 350 in it and gun the 3 on the tree, but I'm glad to see he decided to keep the origonal drivetrain. He mentions burning oil.....he didn't listen to me, I told him how to take care of that............

Also real nice to see alot of "me" in the old girl still..... My glass door handle on the shifter, my glass nob on the glove box, my GM cleanex box holder, my dog dish hub caps, and the passenger side wiper arm on the drivers side:rofl2:

Now...... where the F*** am I gona get 10grand?

I sold it for $1500, no tires, no battery, and kept the beauty rings, but I see he put some on......

God Dam my old girl looks great!

Yeah, it is real nice that his origonal plans changed. I just spoke with Nick, the seller. He said the more he got into it work wise he just couldn't take away the theme I started. And yeah, I do want it back.....then I'll put the old truck tires back on it, and my job box back in....Yup, I would!:2_thumbs_up_-_anima

    :biglaugh:

He is up island today, but tommorow I'll have the camera good and charged. Nick invited me over for one last drive in the old girl...... can't beive I'm saying this but..... I feel all warm and fuzzy inside:biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh:
I also will show him the old school no more smoke oil change tommorow.:dancing:

Truck is on Ebay also..... He did not touch a thing on the interiour he said. Only thing done was he intalled the NOS rubber floor mat that I gave him when he bout the truck.

    Steering wheel: '58 Chevy?

I would think buying my old vehicle back for $10k that I had just sold to the same guy for $1.5k would stick in my craw a bit.......

I would not have gone with the really wide whites.
    Does look nice, though...

As if I would buy it back:biglaugh:

I do have to say, just based on the pics he did alot of work. I used the old girl as a truck, rain, frost, ice, snow, salted roads, mud, dump runs, over loading, etc....

I also don't prefer the wide whites, and the white top, BUT it is nice to see my old truck done up and not butchered;)

Wow Tedy, Looks good. Must give you a little bit of pride seeing it like that. I actually like the white top and the wide white walls. Glad to see it wasn't slammed to the ground with 22 inch wheels and primered black or something terrible. Hope you enjoy your one last ride.

PS my gues on the steering wheel is 59 chivy.

I know green isn't really my color but DAM!!! I would own that thing in a heart beat... if Zoe would let me... :hide:

I'd still rather have a wagon, but I guess that goes without saying.
