Wish I had a happy place like that. I was working on the preliminary steps for my credit and loan when my heart went bad and I had to quit working. Hopefully I will get back to work in the next year.
I understand, my happy place is also my home shop. Just can't get the Texas Mike detailing part down! I am fortunate that my mom and dad live across the yard from me and we have one shop we share but I have one room set up with a/c and heat and 50 inch TV so even if I have no projects I hang out there. Lately though I have been doing everything from building a 55 gallon drum BBQ pit to bird feeder Christmas gifts. Then last night and today I've been doing my best Texas Mike impression and cleaning my dad's Christmas gift to my mom, a 50,000 mile 2010 Camaro SS.
