You might want to turn that clamp counterclockwise, so that that menacing edge gets tucked under the fitting. Those are razor sharp. I'd recommend even using a somewhat smaller clamp, so that there's less edge sticking out whatsoever

Wow. I can't believe I haven't shared anything on here in over a year. I'm slightly embarrassed.
Mostly I have been driving the truck and sorting out the EFI which proved to be a challenge. But all in all well worth it.
A few weeks ago we took it for a cruise in the rain.

And enjoying some of the fall foliage.

It's so great to be able to enjoy this old rig regardless of the time of year. I am however getting ready to park it for the winter.

On another note, I was struck the other day my how quickly time passes. Bellow are two photos. One from the day we brought the F-100 home in 2015. The second is from a few days ago. Same boys, same dog, same truck.

If it helps Jeremiah, different ice cream. Wait till those guys are driving. Then you’ll really feel old. Lol

I still love updates to this thread! So cool to see it stay in the family and get driven.

Feel free to share what happened, I'm sure there are plenty of folks here who would be interested to know what it took to get it running. I keep debating doing EFI on my classics and am indecisive still ;-)

You’re absolutely right. It’ll be interesting when the boys are posting updates on this and the Fury. I’ll probably be gone, or scraping the car along the side of the garage, but it is so cool that these cars will live on with family caretakers!
