Holy schamoly, I have never seen a Fox wagon with wheels like that!!! Goes to show, someone's always looking to build a better mousetrap! As for the 351W, don't worry, you can still do it and use the EFI; you only need a truck lower manifold, 5.8 Lightning with a GT40 upper, or a standard truck lower and an aluminum adapter with the Mustang upper, and a properly-flashed computer.

Read through this thread and you did everything (Cool stuff too!) outside and on the driveway. :mischeif:

    Neighbors must LOVE you! :162:
But I love your wagon and did some art for Hot Rod years ago suggesting just what you did accomplish IRL!
    Nice rod.

Thanks! It's raining today, so I could really use a garage. But I am fiddling with my mustang anyway and may do some things on the wagon. Neither rain nor sleet nor dark of night...

I had a set of old, rusty Crager SS wheels blasted and powder coated for my Commuter. Very pleased with how they turned out.

I really like how those turned out. I am definitely gonna have a set powdercoated white. Time and money...

Thanks. I almost didn't bother with them because they looked pretty rough, but after a harsh blast by a pro and a coat of pretty much Wimbledon White, they should be a nice match to the roof after paint.I think I paid $120 for the blast and $160 for the powdercoat. I could have just painted them with rattle cans to save money, but this will hold up much better. Also, it goes on much thicker and hides probably 90% of the pitting.

Keep them clean and shining, and nobody'll be the wiser.

Build looks pretty nice overall. Are you planning on sub frame connectors?

No. Not at this point anyway. There is not enough power to justify subs. Another problem is the park brake system runs across the width of the floorpan. I have a strut tower brace that I might throw in there. There is a 4 point k member brace under there already.

I actually started the car today! It doesn't stay running unless I keep my foot on the accelerator. But this is a huge huge step towards a running and driving Daddywagon.

It has to learn idle, so you have to let it run for a while, and then start it every day, at least once a day. If it won't pick up the idle map, you'll need to diagnose the Idle Air Controller...or at least look to see if it's plugged in....
