Small update. I went back and had ARP rod bolts installed on the rods. Time to start assembling the bottom end of the motor.

It’s only been 9 years. I’m going to bump my own thread. Plans change, life happens, restorations and builds don’t go as planned. So last week i purchased a new carb, intake, cam, lifters, roller rockers and pushrods for my old wagon project. Trying my best to get a driveline back in my beloved wagon. Hope to have more updates soon. 92E6B9C6-70B2-4A5A-959E-F7CFA524F407.jpeg 458E5CC9-83D0-42BA-BB15-029B2D716A98.jpeg 48982B51-D0F3-47D7-A8EC-070F5F5F4C6C.jpeg C5AF7AC1-8883-4824-989F-6FA76A5BF10E.jpeg

Over the years the plans for my wagon have changed from one thing to another. Looking back I would have not bothered taking the drive train out of the car. That was a mistake. From 2009 to 2018 the car was in my garage unmoving. From 2018 to now it's been in two different places being stored. That being said I've decided to concentrate everything I can to get the car running under it's own power asap. Currently I'm building an engine for my sons car. As soon as that is done, the 460 goes on the stand and I'll start building this engine. I have to build a fresh C6 too but that's not a big deal. The main goal is that this car needs to be able to drive as soon as possible.

Thanks OrthmannJ! I've been lurking on the site for years but no real updates. Finally I have some things moving in a good direction. I am a full blooded wagon lover. They can bury me in this car. Or my sons can have it ;) We will see how it goes.
