I'm new here so I decided to dig up some old photos of my wagon and it's years of progress. My first wagon was a silver 1977 Country Squire I aquired in 1992. This was a Michigan car with LOTS of rust. I moved to San Diego in 1994, and in 1995 I found a 78 Country Squire with a blown motor. I took several days and transferred the entire drive train from the 77 into the 78. Afterwards the old 77 made the sad trip to the wrecking yard. However most all if it's useful parts I boxed up and kept for the future. Enjoy the pics, I'll post some more as I find others. This first batch of pics are from 1995 and clearly are when when transferred the drive trains.

This batch of pics of the "new" engine was taken in 2011. I pulled a 460 our of a 1970 Lincoln Mark 3. This motor has 10.5 to 1 compression and is rated at 365 HP. I disassembled the motor then deburred the block in the oil drainbacks.

Yup,since 1995. I took the engine out in 2009. Up till that point it was a driver. So I'm pretty excited to get it driving again asap. The original 1977 was driven from Detroit to San Diego. The 1978 I drove from San Diego to Detroit in 1998 towing my 1994 Ranger behind it. I took it back across country in 1999 and daily drove it for almost 4 years. It would always start up and run well whenever I needed it until I took out the original motor.
