One of the unfortunate side effects of sandblasting a vehicle. Even when you think you have found it all, more appears.

That's great news! You'll have it back together in time for some nice late summer cruising. (y)
I'm looking forward to seeing the photos of it all nice and shinny.

Its rising for sure! After paint, its getting new carpet, then going to the shop for the 4 wheel disc brakes and fuel injection swap. I also need to test fit the 18 and 20" wheels. I want redline tires, but nobody makes them in my size. While at the Pontiac Nationals last week, I saw a 67 GTO with the same size wheels as I have, with redlines! I tracked down the owner and he said the redlines were installed by

    www.dbtires.com

They take any size tire, mill off all markings from the outside shoulder to make it smooth and shiney, then vulcanize a redline onto the tire. 18 and 20" tires range from $289 to $299 each with the redline installed. This made me very happy. I'm one of those people that get an image in my mind and I won't be happy if I have to settle for anything less.

    Then it should be "done"

recent spy shots. Not the best pics....my painter has a potato cam lol I'm stuck in the hospital now with MRSA infection and some pretty uncomfortable swelling. I hope to be discharged this week, and Doctors orders to stay at home and rest. I'll try to sneak out and see the car though.
