Mopars Do Rule Sometimes

It just happened.

 

Yea, I know. It almost can't be helped.

From MOPAR interiors to electric cars with soundtracks. The connection is obvious.

 

Post 18-20 was about chevys after that it went south

 

I just looked for the first instance of loss of subject.After that there was nary a mention of MOPAR.

 

And I missed it?

The movie car was a coupe. In the third movie, the producers wanted to use an original Hemi car, but by this time, the Hemi cars were worth huge money. So, in the third movie, it is a CLONED Hemi coupe, not a real Hemi car.

The producer still owns the original Phantasm movie car, which IS a real Hemi coupe. Research Mopar Collector Guide, as they had a big write-up on the Phantasm cars several years ago.

 

There were several Phantasm episodes. In the last one, the little kid was grown. Wasn't the 'Cuda a convertible in the last one? It has been so long since I watched those movies, I don't remember much except the 'Cuda was black. Also, that dopey little ice cream truck Reggie had.

 

I know, that is why I said "in the third movie..." In all three, the black Hemicuda coupe is in it. What they wreck are 318 cars. The last movie saw a regular '71 Barracuda, dressed out as a 'Cuda wrecked.

If you're really stuck for one, a neighbour's teen just got his dad's ricer (dad got a new Hemi Dodge sedan). He rips up the alley at 60 MPH, every other evening just to rattle everybody else's retired can.
