Yeah, those Panasonics have a bit more punch to them too, don't they? I've got one with the removable tuner cover plate, digital display, one-knob, and all the digital pre-sets. I like tuning mine with a knob, keeping my eyes on the road. This Toshiba had the presets too, but you can tune it like the old-school units.

This Panasonic was pretty good for clarity though, even if the speakers were dead or dying. :D

In your dreams! They always know how to make their presence felt or heard.:biglaugh:

Check out the Panasonic manual for Watts per Channel. Voltage X Amps = Watts. So in my case, the 50 watt Toshiba needs a fuse of 50 divided by 12 = 4 and a bit Amp fuse. Most cars are above that.

Too tune out the SWMBO, put a rocking chair on the roof! :biglaugh: The Lampoon Chair!

Life in a drum, eh? Look, if you start wearing earmuffs inside the truck, it's too much!:biglaugh:

You might like this little goodie too. It lets your Cassette deck play MP3's and more.

Ah so, as they say in Japan. I've got a heck of a bunch of good music on Cassettes and I found this to use my PC to get them on CD:

Remember all the converters they came up with for 8-Tracks to cassette? Now it's cassette to PC to CD. A 3-way.

The industry that just keeps pumpin' it to us. :(

I've never seen a comparison of the sound quality between Long Play 33 rpm, cassette, and CD recordings. And in a vehicle? hmmm.
