No CFC. I was at a wrecking yard recently and saw the recent CFC arrivals. Honestly, most deserved to be put to death but there were a few that made me sick too. The Olds went to a local mechanic who will use it as a family car.

I see, pretty crappy arguement for a full size van
That must have been one evil handling vehicle.

Some of the delivery vehicles for the US Postal Service were Aerostars.(1)They handle worse than those big bumpercar mailtrucks(which are Chevy shortbed S-10 duallies in disguise)
(2)get incredibly hot inside, because the windshield is so expansive. And,even when the A/C DID work good,it still didn't help. That huge plate of glass kept your face hot enough to cook your frontal lobe.
(3)didn't get mpg's any better than a true full size wagon...In fact, the industry leading Honda Oddyssee didn't get to 18 and 24 mpg till the 2008 model year.

An ex brother-in-law of mine was a drag racer. Was trying to get McDonald's as a sponsor. Car would be called the "Quarter Pounder".

Every now and then I get a guy driving a mini-van looking at my car like "You mean I could be driving that instead?"

After I'd owned a few cars with A/C that worked pretty good,I came to the conclusion that "Max A/C" should blow cool air out the defroster vents onto the inside of the windshield,to help keep my forehead cool,too...

Yeah, those LLV's...I got a bunch of stories about them...Like the mechanics putting 60 weight motor oil in the power steering units,so they won't leak out so fast...Waiting until the tires are beater slicks that pop from sheer exhaustion, before putting a new tire on...And if all four tires are in that shape, waiting until each tire pops to replace it...Then preach to us about how important vehicle safety is...Part of that vehicle safety being;how important it is to have a working parking brake, then NOT fixing broken parking brakes for months on end...But,when all is said and done, the LLV's ARE better handling, better performing vehicles than the Aerostars.
