the heat wave is affecting lots of us here in the south east. How’s the rest of the country faring? Probably not as bad as this poor fella.
That was my guess. Traffic jam on I-65. It was like a parking lot. I had my tinted windows up tight and ice cubes blowing out of the a/c. Plus there were no kids in the car. It was very peaceful. Felt good to be me instead of someone else for a change
I wish I could be someone else, for a change. To keep it family, I won't say who. It's been nasty hot, here in southern Germany. I don't ever remember it being so bad, this early in Summer. We've got a drought and they say that at least a half of the national harvest is already doomed. Talk about Global Warming. We might need the Superpowers to set off a couple nukes, so that we'll get Nuclear Winter for a while. It used to be that whoever could afford it would jet set it to the opposite hemisphere, in order to escape Winter. Now it looks like it's going to go the other way around. I've got to get out of this bear costume
No nukes required. Send your GPS location. We'll send a drone and see if we can alleviate your problem.
I.P. numbers suffice. There are no secrets. Only secret societies keeping track of secrets. Do you know where your grandkids are?: https://wikileaks.org/podesta-emails/emailid/15893
I prefer Dr. Demento's "It's 10 pm do you know where your parents are?". On the heat side it was 50* C + on the shop floor last week, everyone was getting a 15 minute heat break every hour. This week is a lot better, so far.
For 50°C, you could work in Saudi Arabia or Dubai and make plenty of money. That's weird for Ontario, though. I once experienced a Metro Detroit-type hot and humid summer, in Montreal, decades ago, as we were visiting relatives and that seemed strange, for being that far north. But, 50 takes the cake. I run the washmachine at only 10° higher
