Did you see us...we were about half way up just to the right of the start/finish line. Man was it hot!!! Very humid!!! After about 75 laps we went down under the seats in the shade to have our lunch and to cool off. Along with ALOT of other people. We had a great time, lots of sun every day. We got in a little site seeing to North Conway, beautiful. A few evenings of shopping in a/c comfort. Along with three days of racing, yipe it was good break from the ordinary. On the way through Maine(Route 9) we came across a Subaru Wagon for sale. I told hubby that you(SF) were looking for one and we should stop and take a few pics. Well when hubby drives there isn't much stopping or turning around, but on the way back I was driving, heeheehee I got the pics. However, after we saw this first Suby we saw them every where at one point we were surrounded by them. When we got to the track on Sunday, I took a picture of one that rolled in. The guy was pretty excited that I wanted a pic of his car. Apparently he hasn't had it long but is very please with the gas milage and it performance in the snow. I couldn't believe how many we saw, it's no wonder you can't find any where you are, New Englander's love their Suby's. So, it would seem that you came along with us on our holiday...even hubby started pointing them out. When I went out this morning I see one for sale right around the corner...there every where...well except Wisconsin. So a few pics...
Great. Glad you had a good time! Thanks for thinking of me and the Subarus! There are plenty of them here, too, but the people keep them until they rust to dust! They are a great car for Wisconsin winters so people hang on to them. I like the 82-89 hatchbacks but a cherry wagon would do in the same years. Looks like you had a fun time! Glad you enjoyed it. Too bad it was so hot at the race but you still had fun and that's all that counts!
A few wagons that we came across... We did see others but it is hard to stop the car from the passenger side.
You sound soooo relaxed. Must have been a wonderful time. You need to retire so you can go do this all the time...........in Fannie of course.
Hummmm 2001 subaru driven in warmer climates (no salt) but has no air? I love route 9 my favorite road!
We like it too. On the way back we started up I95 but turned of at Lincoln and took route 6, then to route 1 to Calais. Pretty nice drive but #9 is better. How's you holidays going?

That's funny you would ask, I was going to take Harley(grandson) for the day on Sunday but his other grand dad(Joe) wants to show off Harley and maybe his car too at that show. So I'm taking Harley on Saturday and keeping him overnight. I could go back into Truro to take Harley to Joe if you think you'll be there?
I ll be there sometime around noon after doing the truro flea market not sure on exact time or how long i'll be there. What car will he have at the show.
