Just an update on the Kia. I posted an ad for it in nearby Springfield (the one in Missouri, of course) and I just got asked about the car. He said cash in hand, which is a nice change. So we'll see. Once again wish us luck, and hope that this is legitimate.

I tried already. Even made an offer on his other cars. He won't give up the pink cadillac and I offered to take his wagon of his hands for him, but he refused. I don't think he was really paying that much attention anyways. I could hear somebody being choked in the background.

-never call Homer when he's down at Moes! Did you sell the Kia yet? Drop the price and hope.

Well Here is something that seems worth while

    http://dallas.craigslist.org/ndf/cto/2628600853.html

I love the interior. It is in Texas and only six hours from me. The only that worries me is some one told me that when buying a car from Texas that there are some weird charges and money related things. Don't know that there is any truth to that or not...

I am calling the person selling it right now...

    Dammit!!!

 I emailed twice and called twice to find and found out this morning that the ad has been deleted! So I can only assume that it has sold. It was perfect to with the tinted windows, black paint, blue interior, and my wife didn't mind the paneling either. If we could find a good wagon for cheap then we could drop the price of our car accordingly just to get it out of the way... I must love to torture myself... :(

Now you're on the right track, Keys. Dump that turd and move on.
Buying is WAY easier than selling. There is a handful of us sniffing around for you and willing to look at wagon candidates. The right car will come along.

As far as "weird charges" buying in Texas, you will pay no charges in Texas. You pay for the car and take the title to your state's DMV and pay for transfer, tax and registration. There may be additional "out of state" charges in Missouri or any other state for that matter.

Another good thing, based on what I have seen nationwide, is the Texas wagon to dollar exchange rate is 2-1!
